8. Shine the Light (for residents of California)
Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, California residents who provide personal information in obtaining products or services for personal, family, or household use are entitled to request and obtain from us, once each calendar year, information about the customer information we shared, if any, with other businesses for their own direct marketing uses. If applicable, this information would include the categories of customer information and the names and addresses of those businesses with which we shared customer information for the immediately preceding calendar year.
To obtain this information, if applicable, please send an email message to the email noted in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy with Request for California Privacy Information in the subject line and in the body of your message. We will provide in response the requested information to you at your email address.
Please be aware that not all information sharing is covered by the Shine the Light requirements and only required information will be included in our response.
9. Eraser Button (for residents of California)
Under California’s “Eraser Button” law, California residents under age 18 who have registered to use the Site may request removal of content they have posted. To make a request, contact us by email with Eraser Button in the subject line using the email noted in the Contact Us section of this Privacy Policy.
10. SMS Marketing Policy
We value your privacy and make every effort to respect your wishes and personal information. In line with this commitment, we have established the following policy for the use of our short message service (“SMS”) marketing service. Please read it carefully to understand how we collect, use, and manage your phone numbers.
10.1. Collection of Phone Numbers
We collect your phone numbers only when you voluntarily provide them to us, for example, during transactions, inquiries, or when you sign up for our promotional messages. You do not need to make a purchase to subscribe to these SMS messages. You can opt-in to receive these SMS messages either by expressly consenting to receiving these SMS messages in an email to Coliving Counsel or clicking on the welcome pop-up (which shows to new users) or in the checkout by checking your SMS sign-up and providing your phone number.

“Personal Information” is the information that individually identifies you, such as the mobile phone number you provided when signing up for the messaging service. Our website may also use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your user experience and enable certain features such as keeping track of items you put in your shopping cart.
10.3. Use of Phone Numbers for SMS
Your phone numbers are primarily used to provide you with personalized services, updates, and promotional offers. These text messages may relate to our products, services, discounts, upcoming events, or any updates that we think may interest you. We may also provide special discounts or offers through SMS messages. SMS messaging charges may be applied by your carrier. We will only share your phone number with our SMS provider, subject to their privacy policy. We use Klaviyo to send all SMS communications to users who have opted in. 10.4. Use of Information by Third Parties
Your information will only be shared with third parties if it is applicable to complete your transactions to purchase Coliving Counsel stands for inventory and shipping purposes. Coliving Counsel does not sell your information to third parties.
10.5. Opting Out of Marketing Messages
If at any time you wish to stop receiving marketing SMS from us, you can opt out by:

10.7. Privacy of Phone Numbers
Once you have opted out, we will not send you any more SMS messages, nor will we sell or transfer your phone number to another party.
10.8. Access to Promotions and Discounts
You do not need to sign up for SMS Messages to receive information about current promotions. Current promotions can be found on the Coliving Counsel website as well. Codes and promotions are available for a limited time and may be changed or removed at any time.

We reserve the right, at any time, to add to, change, update, or modify this Policy, simply by posting such change, update, or modification on the Site. This Policy, and any changes, are effective as soon as they are posted, unless it is otherwise noted that the changes go into effect at a later time.
